Stephen has been mentored by the world's most successful golf coach Peter Cowen for over 15 years and managed his successful Academies within the Middle East.
An honours graduate in Management, Stephen is an accomplished teacher and player. Having travelled the world he uses Dubai as his main coaching base. Stephen brings with him a wealth of knowledge to pass on to his pupils. He uses his knowledge to fit the student’s technical and physical ability and has a holistic approach to his coaching.
Development of young elite golfers is one of Stephen's areas of expertise and the most enjoyable part of his coaching. He was responsible for initiating and delivering Dubai Golfs first Junior Elite programme which created many success stories particularly with each one of the participants gaining golf scholarships under his guidance. He currently works with several rising stars within the Professional game alongside coaching high profile sporting icons and VVIPs.
Stephen is uniquely part of the Royal & Ancients and Augusta National’s Asia Pacific Amateur Championship Academy coaching team. This team structure and deliver world class coaching Academies for selected participants throughout the year in preparation for the Asia Pacific Amateur Championship.
As a player, Stephen has competed in some major events including the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and represented the UAE PGA in the International Team Championships.
